Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California. The youngest and the only daughter of Richard McCormick. Her father taught school, while her mother stayed at home. Michael, Dennis and Kevin are her three older brothers. From a young stage of life, McCormick loved to sing and dance, and would often put on puppet shows for the neighborhood children. Her fairytale rise to fame started when she won in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was 6years old, which resulted in being contacted by an agent for talent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency in which she was wanted to know if she was interested in to work in showbusiness. McCormick was hired for her first role of note during 1964. McCormick appeared in a Mattel commercial that featured the doll Baby Pattaburp. A year later, McCormick starred in a commercial for the "Chatty Catherine" doll. She was chosen to play the show, Wind It up, and It Breaks. McCormick, who was one of more than 1,200 children who auditioned was chosen to play the oldest daughter of the three sisters with two heads as part of The Brady Bunch. The show was a collaboration between Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a newlywed family. This show lasted for five years. McCormick disclosed in the book published in 2008 entitled Here's My Story: Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice in 2008, that Barry Williams was her screen brother. The actress was sixteen years young, while the actor was 19, at the at the time. It would have been possible as she explained. "But the timing of our deaths was not right."
